The usage of motorways, expressways and selected roads in Czech Republic
by vehicles or road trains with a permitted total weight equal or greater than 12 tons is a subject of toll (distance based charge), pursuant to the Act Nr. 13/1997 Sb. amended by the Act Nr. 80/2006 Sb. Such vehicles do not have an obligation more to fix a vignette (time based charge sticker) on their windshields.

Bottom weight limit of tolling system remains the same after January 1st, 2009.

Only vehicles 12 tons and over are to be registered in MYTO CZ.
Vehicles below 12 tons shall be using vignettes like till now.
